Sustainability roadmap & sustainable materials standards for a marine sports brand

SEAOAK was engaged by a prominent international marine sportswear brand to develop a corporate sustainability strategy and preferred fibres strategy.

What we did

We were engaged by a prominent marine sportswear brand to develop a 3-year sustainability roadmap with a strong focus on sustainable materials, packaging and circularity. As part of this project, we also developed a technical preferred fibres matrix to guide and inform future product design & supplier procurement processes.

Project outcomes

The brand has a clear multi-year sustainability roadmap with prioritised initiatives and a framework to track progress over time. This is helping the brand to communicate their commitments and progress in a more meaningful way, gain new customers and continue to remain competitive in a highly competitive market.

Equipped with a new sustainable fibres strategy that clearly outlines environmental and social impacts of certain fibres, as well as a Restricted Substance List (RSL), the brand is now equipped to make better decisions with regards to their products and packaging. They are also better equipped to engage with sustainable suppliers.
