Regenerate Talent Achieves B Corp Certification with a Score of 102.8

The SEAOAK Consulting team are incredibly proud to celebrate Regenerate Talent for officially joining the global community of Certified B Corporations.

Regenerate Talent is a purpose-driven executive search and recruitment consultancy operating across the Asia-Pacific region from Sydney and Auckland. They specialise in placing mission-aligned talent in sectors such as clean energy, nature & environment, infrastructure, sustainability/ESG, climate & decarbonisation, and the blue economy. Beyond their core work in ethical recruitment, Regenerate Talent dedicate over 20 hours each year to pro bono and volunteer initiatives, supporting causes that align with their mission to create a more equitable and regenerative world of work.

Their B Corp certification and Impact Score of 102.8 recognises a deep commitment to using business as a force for good, balancing purpose and profit while driving measurable impact for people, planet, and community.

To put Regenerate Talent’s achievement into perspective, the average company scores around 50 points on the B Impact Assessment, while a minimum of 80 points is required to become a Certified B Corporation. The assessment measures a company’s social and environmental performance across five key areas - governance, workers, community, environment, and customers.

Regenerate Talent has far exceeded the global benchmark for responsible and sustainable business. In fact, the SEAOAK team was unable to  find a higher-scoring B Corp in the human services sector.

Partnering for purpose - how SEAOAK supported the Regenerate Talent team

SEAOAK had the privilege of partnering with Regenerate Talent throughout their B Corp journey, helping them create a three-year corporate strategy to strengthen their organisation’s social and environmental performance. Together, we built a roadmap to align their business purpose with measurable outcomes, as well as a new sustainable procurement policy and a code of ethics.

SEAOAK guided the Regenerate Talent team throughout the B Corp Certification process from start to finish, providing strategic advice and support to help them achieve a high Impact Score.

About the global B Corp movement

B Corps represent a growing movement of over 9,000 certified organisations worldwide, united by a shared goal: to redefine what success in business means. Certification gives third-party verification of a company’s claims around sustainability and impact…not just self-reporting.

There is also evidence that B Corps may perform better than peers: for example, a UK report noted that small-/medium-sized B Corps saw revenue growth of ~23% between 2023-24, compared to a 16.8% national average, and head-count growth of ~9.6% versus a 0.5% decrease in the wider business population.
